What is a dual delivery model?
Dual delivery simply means that our affiliated providers will work under a subscription-based arrangement, whereby a set monthly fee will entitle subscribed patients to a full range of services, broad in scope, and fully outlined in a concise document, clearly describing all included services, as well as excluded services, which, however, be available for a fee for service. Providers will also accept insurance for many covered services for those with coverage, and participation in the subscription-based model will also help defray costs of services which may not be covered, or can apply towards insurance deductibles or copays. Subscribed patients often end up with little or no additional out-of-pocket expenses.
What types of practitioners will I have access to as a subscribed patient?
Our physicians include specialists able to provide diagnostic and treatment services from the ground up; we begin by providing comprehensive care for those seeking general medical care, but prefer to manage their health in a proactive fashion, managing risks early to prevent chronic disease from manifesting in the future. Physician qualifications also allow us to provide more specialized care in the areas of cardiovascular medicine, internal medicine, functional medicine (the management of risks and conditions via more conservative natural methods), and weight-loss and metabolic optimization care, without drugs or surgery.
What is the experience level of your providers?
Each of our member physicians brings decades of practice experience to bear, and all have numerous post-graduate training and certification within their respective fields. Find out more about individual practitioners on our "Our Team" page.
What are the costs for the subscription model?
As multiple levels of subscription services are available, these will all be discussed in full transparency when you speak with our office staff; as each level of patient care is unique, it is difficult to quote prices until we have a better understanding of each patient's individual needs.
Which insurance plans do you accept?
Most of our providers are credentialed with all major medical plans, as well as Medicare and Medicaid. Please ask about individual practitioners and specific services during your initial consultation.
What if I need a referral to other providers for services not provided by NEHOW physicians?
Our physicians and staff are intimately familiar with practitioners in all specialties throughout New England, and hold our standards quite high when offering referrals. With decade of experience and currently serving well over 50,000 patients, directing patients to the right specialists for specific needs is never a problem. Services provided by physicians outside of the NEHOW umbrella would not be covered by subscription fees; however as our rapid growth continues, we foresee more specialties entering our network over time.
